The providers behind this site.

A short list, kept as its own page so that it stays accurate. When a provider changes, this page changes — the commitments in the privacy policy do not.

Why this page exists

The promises live in the policy. The names live here.

Running this site and this practice requires a small number of third-party applications and services. Naming each one inside the privacy policy would mean revising a legal document every time a supplier changed, which is how policies quietly drift out of date. So the policy describes what each kind of provider does and what commitments apply to all of them, and this page names the current ones.

Everything set out in the privacy policy applies to every provider listed here. Adding, removing or replacing one does not widen the purposes information is used for, does not change the retention periods, and does not affect your rights of access, correction and deletion.

Running the website

Hosting, security and typefaces.

  • Cloudflare Pages and network — hosting, content delivery and protection against attack. Handles standard request data: IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser type. Served from a global edge network, including the United States.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — aggregate measurement of which pages are read. Sets no cookies, uses no client-side state, and applies no cross-site or cross-session identifier.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — confirms a person rather than a bot before a report is sent. Runs on the Snapshot and Assessment pages only, and receives your IP address and browser characteristics.
  • Google Fonts — serves the site’s typefaces. Receives the request data needed to deliver a font file, and nothing else.

The assessments

Only if you ask for the report by email.

The assessments score entirely in your browser. Nothing reaches either service below unless you choose “Email me this report”.

  • Google Apps Script, running under the LCG Google Workspace account — builds your report and sends it to you. Handles the submission fields listed in the privacy policy.
  • Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive and Sheets) — holds the sent report and the record of submissions, for 24 months. Stored in the United States and other locations where Google operates.

Talking to me

Email and call bookings.

  • Google Workspace (Gmail) — business email. Holds whatever you send and the correspondence between us.
  • Google Calendar appointment scheduling — discovery call bookings. Your name, email address, time zone and any note you add are entered directly with Google, under Google’s own privacy policy.

The newsletter and the free sample chapters

Only when you sign up or ask for the sample chapters.

A provider was chosen on 28 August 2026 and was named on this page before either form was connected, which is the order this page promised. Both forms now send your details to the provider below when you submit them. Visiting a page sends nothing.

  • MailerLite — the newsletter list, and delivery of the free sample chapters. Holds the email address you enter, your name if you give one, a tag recording which form you used, the date and time you signed up, and the ordinary record of whether an email was opened or a link followed. MailerLite, Inc. is a Delaware corporation; information is stored in the United States and other locations where MailerLite operates.

Downloading the sample chapters does not subscribe you to anything. The sample-chapters form carries a separate, unticked box for the newsletter, and the two are tagged separately so that they stay separate. Joining the newsletter sends you one short welcome email. Every email after that carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes you off the list.

Not in use

What is deliberately absent.

  • Advertising, remarketing or social media tracking — none, and none is planned.
  • Customer data platform or session recording — none.

Keeping this current

How this page is maintained.

This page is updated whenever a provider is added, removed or replaced. Where the change affects what happens to your information, it is updated before the change takes effect rather than after.
